Samsung named LCD TV market leader
HDTV owners in the US will be able to get rid of all their messy wires, now that Philips Electronics has released its Wireless HDTV Link in the country.

The link wirelessly connects an HDTV to devices such as satellite receivers, Blu-ray players and games consoles, and has a range of up to 75 feet.

The Philips Wireless HDTV Link is available now through amazon.com and dell.com for around $799, and next month it will be available from samsclub.com and Costco.com.

There is no loss of quality with the wireless link, as the signal is never compressed

Philips Wireless HDTV Link will be available in high street retailers later in the year.
