jvc-lt-42e478.jpgJVC’s brand of widescreen high-definition television has brought a new dimension to home entertainment systems. The LT-42E478, from JVC, is one such product engineered specifically not only for people who loves extreme audio visual experiences, but also to fit and influence the artistic minds of home decorators.

The 42-inch LT42E478 television, with stylish cosmetics, takes into consideration every feature the demanding digital customer is looking for now and for the future. It offers a 1500:1 contrast ratio, 500 cd/m2 and a 178-degree viewing angle. The LT42E478’s connectivity takes into consideration today’s digital world and includes an ATSC tuner, Dual HDMI/HDCP inputs, a new USB Photo Viewer and two component video inputs. It’s ideal for any room in the house.

First of all, let’s take a look at the LT-42E478’s connection options. The LT42E478 is equipped with dual HDMI/HDCP Digital Inputs that provide an uncompressed high bandwidth digital connection from any HDMI compatible device. This method of displaying digital signals allows for a noise-free, unaltered transmission of the digital content.

As mentioned earlier, there’s a Smart Video input, 2 component video inputs, 2 S-Video inputs, and 3 AV inputs (1 side set). Output terminals include an optical digital audio output and a fixed audio output. A USB Photo Viewer lets you treat the family to a high resolution slide show of your latest photos by connecting your USB compatible camera.

Next, let’s tackle its 42-inch screen. The LT42E478’s 42-inch widescreen W-XGA (1366 x 768) LCD monitor provides high brightness, wide viewing angle, and a flicker-free high resolution picture. The ATSC/Digital Cable input makes connecting to an HD signal a breeze. A built-in ATSC tuner allows you to receive over-the-air digital terrestrial broadcasts. The Clear QAM tuner allows you to receive unscrambled Digital Cable signals.

JVC’s GENESSA combines all of JVC’s core image processing circuits together in a single chip and allows for faster communication between circuits, and its 32-bit turbo-powered picture processing provides faster and more efficient sampling.

But those are only half of what makes the JVC LT42E478 such an attractive TV. It also provides dual oblique cone speakers, and 20 watts of total audio power that makes this LCD TV pack an audio punch. Advanced hyper surround completes the package. It uses technology to produce a surround sound effect using only the built-in speakers. Smart Sound takes some of the edge off of loud commercials so you don’t have to turn the volume down yourself.

Overall, the JVC included all the latest technology in the LT42E478 that not only makes for great performance, but also makes the television easy and fun to use.
