Mitsubishi WD65833 DLP TV
Everybody wants to get the best out of everything. Get the best deals, get the best quality, and even get the best equipment. Well, if that is your mindset, then you won’t go wrong with the Mitsubishi WD65833 DLP TV. The selling point of this set is no doubt its ability for 120Hz image processing for quicker frame rate conversion and blazing fast pixel response times.
Samsung calls this new technology as the Smooth120Hz. This allows the set to double the amount of frames from 60fps to 120fps and does it the right way by using real-time calculation of every single frame of video to create entire new frames of information.
This set has got it all. Let’s start with its connections. With Mitsubishi’s Easy Connect, setting up the TV is simplified. With this feature, the set recognizes each input as it is plugged in then prompts the user to name it, enters it into the Device Menu, and only shows used inputs.
In addition, the WD65833 provides four HDMI v1.3 inputs. HDMI 1.3 adds support for the new “xvYCC” high definition color standard, which removes current color space limitations and enables the display of any color the human eye can perceive. This set sports an additional three digital component video inputs as well. The front of this unit sports both an HDMI port and a component input for quicker, easier connection of the latest HD gaming devices.
With the WD65833. Mitsubishi has taken color to a new level. With its exclusive new 6-Color Light Engine. x.v.Color enables more color than standard HDTV. Mitsubishi’s 6-Color Light Engine generates yellow, cyan, and magenta directly, rather than by mixing combinations of the standard red, green, and blue (RGB) to create them. This more efficient process allows the WD65833 to display a wider range of colors.
Additional color features such as Color 4D Video Noise Reduction, PerfectColor and PerfecTint allow for additional advanced color processing and adjustment. PerfectColor is an exclusive Mitsubishi feature that gives you the ability to adjust the intensity of six separate colors independent of each other and separately for every input.
Similarly, PerfecTint allows you to adjust the tint of six colors independently of each other and separately for every input.
Another aspect worth considering with the WD65833 is the way it utilizes its new lamp technology. Their unique, patented optical design focuses light more efficiently to produce a brighter on-screen image. TurboLight180 produces a brighter image without increasing the amount of power consumed or heat produced, therefore it does not compromise the life or performance of the lamp itself. Mitsubishi’s exclusive TurboLight180 technology directs more light to the DLP chip surface resulting in a brighter, more vivid on-screen image.
Mitsubishi’s Tru1080p Processing maintains 1080p high definition signals as 1080p from beginning to end. All 1080p DVI-I, HDMI, IEEE 1394, and 1080p Broadcast signals are passed through with no down-conversions.
The advancements of 1080p DLP technology for HDTV viewing deliver over 2 million pixels to you on-screen for a full and true 1920 x 1080 resolution. With Mitsubishi 1080p DLP HDTVs, you can experience the best that high definition has to offer today and be ready to enjoy all of the 1080p sources that are on the horizon.
