BeoVision 4 Plasma TV automatically adjusts picture

Bang & Olufsen has made it easy to check that your set is delivering the best possible picture with its BeoVision 4 Plasma TV.
The 1920 x 1080 resolution set has a robotic arm with a camera at the end to check the picture quality. The arm is normally tucked away behind the frame, but can swing down in front of the display to take a test picture. This is then analysed and the picture is automatically adjusted if necessary.
Sesors also constantly monitor the set’s brightness and contrast, automatically adjusting them when necessary. Picture quality if further enhanced with a special anti-reflective coating on the screen.
The BeoVision 4 is available now for a 50-inch model, priced at $7500. A 65-inch model, priced at $13500 will be available in March.
Bang & Olufsen has also launched the BeoLab 10, an amplifier which spreads 500W of sound out 180° horizontally into a room. The amplifier is priced at $4000.
