lg-47lc7df.jpgLG is one of the fastest growing electronics companies in the world. Every product they release tries to conforme to their mantra, Life is Good. The 47LC7DF is LG’s new LCD model featuring 1920 x 1080p Full HD resolution, Super IPS technology, LG’s exclusive XD Engine, and a 178-degree viewing angle, USB ports, three HDMI inputs, built-in speakers with surround sound, and a 8000:1 contrast ratio.

With this dynamic view, you’ll get really great gaming, flawless movies, and the ability to look at your family photos and listen to MP3s. Plus, the QAM tuner lets you watch cable programming without the need for a separate box. All in a compact, flat screen. Such luxurious entertainment will have you agreeing with LG about the goodness of life in no time.

Sound customization is easy with the 47LC7DF. It has pre-installed manufacturer presets - Standard, Music, Movie, and Sports - and one manual setting that you create. These adjustment possibilities allow you to have your ideal audio experience. Change treble, bass, and front surround to your liking.

TruSurround XT takes advantage of any multi-channel format without needing to add extra speakers or equipment. Dialogue clarity, bass enrichment, and the addition of stereo audio enhancement produces immersive sound from standard stereo material.

LG has also created their exclusive XD Engine to contribute to picture improvement. This engine takes the low resolution of analog signals to near HD levels by improving brightness, contrast, detail, and enhancing color as well as reducing signal noise. This is a total solution that results in cinema-like, high resolution images.

The LG Simplink, also known as HDMI-CEC, allows for easy, direct, user-friendly control of other LG Simplink products using the existing HDMI connection. HDMI is the only interface in consumer electronics that can carry both uncompressed high-definition (HD) video and uncompressed multi-channel audio in all high definition formats including 720p and 1080i.

An all-digital, uncompressed signal translates into the highest quality video and audio, seen and heard, direct from the source. Even if you have components that don’t provide a high definition signal, a built-in image scaler handles inputs from a variety of digital and analog sources. This means the 47LC7DF will scale a standard definition picture up to high definition.

With the IntelligentEye feature, the super bright LCD monitor automatically adjusts to the lighting in the room, so you can view your screen just as comfortably on a sunny day as you can in a dimly lit room on movie night.

Aside from its own innovations that make it an LG, the 47LC7DF also comes with features many people consider standard basic necessities for today’s TVs. Features such as parental controls, ratings display, system lock, and password protection make this TV welcome in any home environment. Also, as with most flat screen TVs, you’ll have the option of mounting the TV on a table or a wall. Plus, you can hook this TV up to your computer, MP3 device, camcorder, or digital camera, for multiple types of use.
