SOYO to demo 32-inch plasma, 24-inch 1080p LCD TV at CES

Soyo Inc, a California-based provider of computer and consumer electronics products, is planning to demonstrate two new HDTVs at the CES 2008 event in Las Vegas next week.
The sets are designed to give high resolution pictures in a small footprint - an area of the market which is not well-served at the moment.
The company will display an unnamed 32-inch plasma set, with a 1,500:1 contrast ratio, 500cd/m2 brightness and a colour display of 10.7 billion, twin HDMI inputs, a single component / two composite inputs and S/PDIF audio out. The set will be priced at just $499.
The 24-inch LCD set will feature full 1080p resolution, a pair of HDMI / component jacks, picture-in-picture functionality, 500 cd/m2 brightness, a three-millisecond response time, 1,000:1 contrast ratio. This will have a price tag of $699.
As well as TVs, Soyo provides LCD Monitors, Bluetooth, Portable Storage, LCD Furniture and broadband telecommunications products and services.
Its products are available through authorised distributors, resellers, system integrators, VARs, retailers, mail-order catalogues and also online.
