LG 60PC1D Plasma Flat Panel
The 60PC1D LG plasma flat panel offers 60 inches of high definition viewing. Watch your favorite programs in HD with the deep blacks and vibrant colors that plasma televisions are known for. The native 1366 x 758p resolution on the 60PC1D provides the most detailed resolution currently possible. Three HDMI connections mean you can hook up to your high-tech components and enjoy HD audio and video through a single cable. LG’s proprietary features like the XD Engine and image sticking minimization make life with this 60″ plasma screen even better.
The 60PC1D includes inputs for the most advanced components which allows simultaneous PC interactivity while watching your favorite TV programming. HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) is a connector that combines DVI signals, and digital audio into one small connector, allowing for simple and easy connections between a source device and a display. The 60PC1D’s HDMI connections include HDCP copy protection. The PC input lets you use the 60PC1D as a computer monitor, and there’s also a RS-232C connection, dual component video inupts, an optical digital audio output, S-video input and RF inputs. For easy connections, there are S-Video, composite video and audio L/R inputs on the left side of the television.
Six distinct processes contribute to picture improvement to this TV. But whats important to know is that LG’s XD Engine takes the low resolution of analog signals to near HD levels by improving brightness, contrast, and detail. It also reduces signal noise, which is a common trouble-maker for image quality. Since this technology attacks both aspects of analog signal issues, the overall result is cinema-like high resolution images on your 1366 x 768p plasma screen.
LG isn’t going to let ghost images burn onto your plasma screen that easily. With its Image Sticking Minimization, the set is provided protective measures to minimize damage as a result of stationary images.
Of course, LG has included SRS TruSurround XT so that your plasma sounds as great as it looks. You can also manually adjust the bass, balance and treble to tweak and fine-tune your audio experience to your specific liking. You can also choose between Mono, Stereo, and SAP.
