Humax announces Freeview Playback HDTVs
Humax, a world leading set-top box manufacturer, has introduced two new LCD HDTV models, the LP32-TDR1 and LP40-TDR, with integrated digital recorders.

Both models have been granted Freeview Playback certification, which ensures the provision of a range of one-touch recording features such as pausing and rewinding live TV, schedule tracking in case the time of a programme is changed and auto buffering for accurate recording.

Freeview Playback allows viewers to watch and record over 40 free digital TV channels for just the cost of the set-top box.

Humax has also recently launched a PVR-9200TB set top recorder featuring Freeview Playback group 2 status, which provides features such as series link, split recording, and alternate instance recording.

Both the LP32-TDR1 and LP40-TDR HDTVs feature a 160GB hard drive, allowing up to 80 hours of programmes to be recorded.

Other features include picture in picture viewing, digital text and interactive services, HDMI connectivity for HD equipment, Dolby Digital 5.1 sound, and a CI slot for receiving Pay TV services.

The LP32-TDR1 is priced around £699.99 and the LP40-TDR1 costs £999. Both models are available now.
