JVC HD56G787 HDTV
The JVC HD56G787 is the kind of television that is ready to deliver HDTV programming right out of the box. It has a built-in digital ATSC/QAM tuning system, that with the proper antenna, will receive free over-the-air HDTV signals. It has several innovative features developed exclusively by JVC to give consumers the best possible quality they can get.
First of all, the HD56G787 makes hook-up easy with an abundance of connectivity options. The list includes two HDMI/HDCP digital video input, a Smart Input for scanning and receiving signals from an A/V receiver, two HD component video inputs, two S-Video inputs, four A/V inputs, a fixed audio output, and two IEEE 1394 in/out jacks. Literally any device is easily hooked up with this set.
In terms of its performance, the HD56G78 is equipped with Direct-Drive Image Light Amplifier (D-ILA) device, developed by JVC. It is a reflective type of LCD that delivers a greater amount of light than transmissive LCD panels. It is made up of pixel groups that correspond to each image dot. This eliminates the screen-door effect found in many LCD projectors, leaving an impressive, nearly seamless picture. The unit also provides high contrast levels. It yields smooth, noiseless motion pictures with clear, sharp, high-definition, film-like picture quality. The HD56G787, continuously reproduces a flicker-free and burn-free picture. An invisible pixel structure assures there are no color or motion artifacts, and a true analog gray scale provides superior gradations of black.
An exclusive 5-Point Color Management System (CMS), incorporated into JVC’s D-ILA series, compensates for the limited
color standards set by CRT TVs with pin-point, four-color (green, red, yellow, and blue) plus dedicated flesh tone sampling, adjusting for the color purity of each without effecting the other color tones and assuring colors as vivid as can be. Motion-Adaptive Dynamic Gamma Correction (DGC), using data from every signal level, makes sure that tonal gradations are preserved from the darkest to the brightest areas of the image for transition-free perfect detail. TheaterPro 6500K Color Temperature Setting is the NTSC standard in editing from film to DVD or other secondary video formats. This technology allows you to view programs as true as the film editors intended them to be. The technology may sound intimidating, but the resulting images are something you’re sure to appreciate.
The HD56G787 sound as good as it looks too. JVC definitely took extra pains in developing a great audio system. The television’s front firing speakers work with MTS Stereo/Dolby Digital to deliver great audio without the necessity of a home audio system. New Advanced Tone Correction and Maxx Bass give you even more opportunities to get the perfect sound out of the HD56G787, and Advanced Hyper Surround Sound creates a realistic surround sound effect with just the television speakers.
Truly, the JVC HD56G787 is a television where you can say you definitely got your money’s worth. One of the best sets in the market, it gives you great quality, and even better performance.
