Sharp to demo world's slimmest large screen LCD
Sharp is planning to demo its latest G Series of LCD HDTVs at IFA, the world’s largest Consumer Electronics trade fair, which will be held in Berlin, August 31 - September 5, 2007.

The company claims that the new screens include the world’s slimmest large screen LCD.

The dimensions of the G Series screens have been pared down to just 81mm thick –4mm slimmer than the current R Series models.

The G Series screens come in a range of sizes from 26in - 52in. They are ideal for wall hanging, weighing in at between four and nine kilograms.
