Evesham upgrades e-box with HD capability

Evesham upgrades e-box with HD capability

Evesham has added Dual-Core processing, high-definition capabilities and Windows Vista Home Premium to its e-box, rebranding it as e-box HD.

The device is a set top recorder and entertainment system which combines PC, TV, DVD and hi-fi features in one system.

The dual Dual DVB-T TV Tuner allows the user to record one programme while watching a different one. An HDMI port allows the e-box HD to be connected to an HD TV set.

The AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ processor delivers Dual-Core technology for enhanced performance - it can easily cope with downloading home movies while the TV is in use without annoying waiting times.

The new e-box HD supports AMD Live! which is available via a free download from AMD’s website.

AMD Live! puts movies, pictures, videos and TV programmes all in one place. These files can then be accessed on a mobile phone, MP3 players, or another TV.

The e-box HD is available now priced at £699.
