Philips 42” Ambilight LCD HDTV expected

Philips has apparently leaked the spec sheet for its new 42PFL9900D LCD HDTV.
The innovative model has undergone a complete re-design from the original Ambilight range.
In the 42PFL9900D, the frame sits seamlessly level with the screen. In previous models the frame looked like a photo frame with the screen sitting separately.
The spec has been upgraded too, placing the set on a level with models from Sony, Panasonic and Toshiba.
The 42PFL9900D features 3HDMI connections, 2x scart, digital audio output and a USB connection for displaying JPEG photos and MP3 playback.
The full HD 1080p resolution screen has a 100Hz refresh rate. There is also a 1200:1 contrast ratio, 550cd/m2 brightness and a 176 viewing angle.
The model is expected to be available in the UK in the near future.
