HDTV Sees Nature In a Whole New Way

Story link: HDTV Sees Nature In a Whole New Way by Kathryn Lang

Discovery started releasing its Planet Earth series recently, a look at nature as no one has seen it before made all the more intense through HDTV. If you didn’t know it was coming, then you don’t watch TV at all. This series has been hyped from here to eternity and back again. There is nothing worse than being let down by hype, but this series does not let down.

The new HDTV programs are being praised by everyone, from internet bloggers to radio talk show hosts (like Rush Limbaugh) and everywhere in between. The angles of the shots, the clarity, and the footage put you into nature itself.

The filming took 5 years and has been cut down to 11 different programs. All of them are perfect for the HDTV viewer. They are narrated by Sigourney Weaver.

If you like nature shows, this is nature in the raw. Watching how nature works, as it works, up close and in person is how everyone should view nature shows. This is great programming for the family, the nature lover, or even the classroom.

If you missed the first opportunity to experience this HDTV programming, Planet Earth, then all is not lost. The next show is set to air on April 1st, 2007. Pop your popcorn, gather together your family, and step into the intensity of nature that only Discovery could bring you.
